sorry, for me gapps is working perfectly, no cpu or memory issues. I have 39 android applications installed only via gapps and all are working fine.

gapps is a CPU and memory HOG. As soon as I start Dalvik and have gapps installed the CPU and mem is at top. http://i.imgur.com/SdLn84F.png
